As the new academic year approaches, we are thrilled to see aspiring veterinary professionals prepare for their studies. With our steadfast commitment to enhancing access to veterinary and technician training, Zoetis Inc. donated $3.4 million in funding to AAVMC for the Veterinary Student Scholarship, impacting more than 1,900 students between 2015 and 2020. From 2021 to 2023, the Zoetis Foundation provided $4.4 million in grant funding to AAVMC for the scholarship program, impacting more than 800 students embarking on careers in veterinary medicine. Through this scholarship initiative, the Zoetis Foundation is supporting a more inclusive veterinary community and fostering broader access to veterinary training. We’re committed to helping cats and their owners overcome these barriers to routine care. As we recognize Take Your Cat to the Vet Day, in partnership with Orion Corporation, we’re proud to provide an innovative option that is FDA approved for the alleviation of acute anxiety and fear associated with transportation and veterinary visits in cats. Colleagues at our manufacturing site in Campinas, Brazil, recently celebrated the site’s 40th year of delivering for animals and those that care for them. From its humble beginnings in 1984 creating poultry vaccines, the site expanded and modernized its facilities to serve a growing product portfolio. Fast forward to 2024, Campinas now supplies a wide range of products. The Campinas site has achieved outstanding results throughout the years, including being recognized as a STAR site for workplace safety, successfully adopting data and digital technologies, and delivering operational excellence. Such achievements were made possible by the dedication, teamwork, and resilience of our colleagues, who make all the difference. Congratulations, Campinas!

Education and training are crucial to the A.L.P.H.A. Plus initiative as it progresses in supporting the establishment of sustainable veterinary care in Sub-Saharan Africa.   We're committed to training 100,000 professionals, including farmers, in Sub-Saharan Africa by the end of 2025.
