Yesterday on our Zoomph Broadcast Webinar we talked about the importance of looking at viewership data min x min and evaluating the impact of other sporting events nationally and in-market. Credit to Peter Barrett for being an equal sports data nerd and asking me if the New York Jets on MNF would impact the New York Mets on SNY and New York Yankees on YES Network. Well, it absolutely did! Viewership on the RSNs dropped roughly 20% at Kickoff compared to the first 60 minutes of the baseball games. At Zoomph we value asking the why and learning how to optimize sponsorship at any given minute throughout a telecast.
