☕😃💉 Coffee conversation and free voluntary HIV screening day at the Ethiopian National Association of the Blind! 💉😃☕ 📌 Today, ZUZU for Health and Education with EMSA-HMC, EMSA-ECUSTA and EMSA-MMC united under ✨ Project እኔስ ለወገኔ ✨ to give free voluntary counseling and testing about HIV/AIDS. We engaged in insightful conversations with the members of the Ethiopian National Association of the Blind, addressing their medical inquiries and hearing their personal stories. ✅ We engaged PICT (provider-initiated counseling and testing) and, with the invaluable support of Zewditu Memorial Hospital, provided free HIV voluntary screening for 20 members PLUS Ikkkk pof the association. 📍Last Saturday was a day filled with gratitude, compassion and hope as we donated Mela reusable sanitary pads along with health education on menstrual hygiene at the Ethiopian National Association for the Blind. 🎯 Blind women face additional challenges in accessing sanitary products as they are unable to read the packaging or navigate the market independently. This makes it difficult for them to identify and purchase the right products that meet their needs. 📍The washable sanitary pads donated were made to ease these challenges and were designed to be comfortable and easy to use as well as environmentally friendly. The tailored health education with tactile assistance covered how to keep the products hygienic and themselves healthy. 🎯 We want to address our deep gratitude for our volunteers and donors, Redat healthcare, PDC diagnostic services and Infinity technologies who worked along aside with us👏🙏🏽 #DisabilityInclusion #AccessibilityForAll #HealthForAll.
