There is so much to share about our latest evolution of BODY BIKE SMART+ as Phantom is launched to the world at FIBO in Germany. Over the coming weeks, I will personally be drip-feeding the brilliance that is Phantom and my take on each feature. An indoor cycle, familiar in so many ways....'BODY BIKE ways'. What had been envisioned, then developed, engineered and brought to reality is an indoor cycle that will change the approach to choosing a bike for cycle studios. I am sure of this.... From where I sit, the aim was to build on a product that was already of the highest quality: BODY BIKE SMART+, and implant something fresh and new: engineering & tech, with features that bring attention to that detail and appeal to the broader indoor cycling market. There has been a true vulnerability shown by BODY BIKE International during this process, as in this new bike, BODY BIKE SMART+ Phantom, completely honest conversations were had regarding what BODY BIKE do 'oh so well' though just as importantly, what can, could and should be improved. I believe we've cracked the code of indoor cycle design & engineering and that is a lot more than just evolution! This is not a 'watch this space' post. It's more an 'open your eyes and pay attention' otherwise, something may be missed. "At Lightweight, we clearly focus on the best possible technical component properties, followed by manufacturing costs. Prioritising component properties is somewhat more difficult. In order to integrate comfort properties without compromising on performance value, we are working together as a team and are listening to the needs of modern cyclists." 🌟 What trends in the cycling industry are you most excited about, and how is Lightweight positioning itself to lead in these areas? "The former trends of ‘lightweight’ and ‘aerodynamic’ are merging more and more and the trend is towards lightweight-aerodynamic components. This is absolutely logical, as we always have to deal with both physical effects when cycling. With its latest developments, Lightweight shows that aerodynamic components can also be light.
