  • Tocumen International Airport, Panama

    We are providing an aluminum standing seam roof for this new 490,000 sf terminal designed by Foster & Associates, London, in the capital city of Panama. Our scope also includes 200 custom skylights, a bullnosed aluminum fascia, and custom plate aluminum fascia panels. The roof is curved in two directions with individual panels up to 400' long. I was involved from the start from initial sales through estimate to establishing a Panamanian company and team.

    As part of the F-35 coming to Luke Air Force Base, Western Building Group has been involved in three major projects. We provided high quality structural standing seam roofing, insulated metal wall panels, aluminum composite walls, and a custom pre-weathered plate steel rain screen system. Projects built to LEED Silver standards, and included design/build systems.

  • San Luis Commercial Port of Entry

    Commercial border crossing near Yuma. Project was procured under a design/build, fixed price, best value approach through the GSA. Our team provided a unique design concept that parted from the standard in several areas saving budget and reducing schedule. Achieved LEED Gold rating.
