Art & Design Departments:

Cover and Interior Design

Designing books—covers, jackets, and interiors—is a collaborative effort. The staff reviews the book and meets with the editor and marketing department to create a visual-packaging direction and oversee its implementation to both represent the book's essence and attract the target audience.

Some responsibilities may include creating covers and interior designs for each book, setting up hardcover and paperback mechanicals, Image research, type research, Illustrator research and creating social media assets.

Creative Marketing

Our creative marketing designers play a pivotal role in book promotion and marketing. The designers works closely with marketers and art directors to brainstorm and create marketing, publicity, and promotional materials. They collaborate to create shareable social media content, online and print ads, and other promotional materials.
