About The Role
Our client is seeking a senior-level graphic artist specialising in 3D animation for a long-term collaboration on a project. The project involves animating parts of a 3D object (an OBJ mesh created through photogrammetry) and synchronizing these animations with a sound score. This remote opportunity offers creative freedom and is expected to span approximately eight months.
Responsibilities:
Animate specific parts of a 3D object (OBJ mesh) created through photogrammetry
Synchronize object animations with a provided sound score
Collaborate closely with the project lead to understand and execute the creative vision
Provide input and creative suggestions to enhance the overall project
Maintain consistency in animation style throughout the project duration
Requirements
Proven experience as a senior-level 3D animator
Strong proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max)
Experience working with OBJ files and meshes created through photogrammetry
Demonstrated ability to synchronize animations with audio
Creative problem-solving skills, especially when working with complex 3D objects
