Account Executive

Steel Advertising is a purpose-driven, full-service advertising agency located in Austin, Texas. Steel is seeking a talented, self-motivator to fill an Account Executive role. This position is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects with quality control throughout project life cycles. This position will be the daily contact for their assigned accounts and requires strong client communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand client’s business and objectives
• Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery of client satisfaction
• Maintaining client communications and project updates
• Project management from inception to completion
• Clearly communicate client expectations to team members
• Ensure that account service project management documents are complete and accurate including schedule, conference report, etc.
• Develop appropriate strategic documents such as briefs to direct project
• Turn client deliverables into presentation format and make presentations to client in conjunction with other team members
• Resolve issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle
• Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports (internal and to client)
• Review project work for accuracy including adhering to brand guidelines and making sure it aligns with client expectations 
• Responsible for project results and keeping the team accountable to project KPIs
• Work with the finance team to communicate project updates and budget changes

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of work experience (internships excluded)
• Work experience in agency environment strongly preferred

LOCATION: This position is located in Austin, TX and requires going into the office.
