About The Team

We work together to ensure our clients understand this new world of advertising, that they are making the best possible decisions to support their own goals, and drive advertiser interest and engagement across the board. The Client Services team is responsible for managing and growing Roku’s partnerships with Advertisers and ultimately enabling our clients to reach their business objectives.

About The Role

The Account Manager role is a strategic partner to Roku advertising clients, Roku Account Executives, and internal cross-functional stakeholders. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high standard of operational excellence while executing effective, performance-driven streaming advertising campaigns. Focused on post-sales activation, the Account Manager is responsible for ensuring campaigns deliver on advertiser objectives by using data to inform campaign optimizations, with a focus on lower-funnel marketing goals. This individual will have a passion for marketing and advertising sales and will be closely aligned with other sales team members and cross-functional groups.

This position requires strong communication skills and attention to detail, and a focus on continual improvement by adopting and test and learn mindset. The Account Manager plays a key role in creating a best-in-class partnership experience for Roku advertising clients, and driving retention & renewal of advertising campaigns. Depending on the day and the client, this can range from supporting a digitally native brand drive lower-funnel performance outcomes, to supporting a Fortune 500 client execute a major branding campaign through a splashy sponsorship, to talking a client through a programmatic campaign.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $90,000 and $135,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the lead day-to-day POC for advertiser/ad agency relationships post-sale efforts, inclusive of, but not limited to, activities such as campaign execution, reporting, pacing, and optimization
  • Proactively manage renewal and upsell opportunities for your portfolio of clients
  • Partner closely with Roku Ad Operations and internal stakeholder teams on campaign activations and optimizations
  • Frequent monitoring & reporting campaigns status to key stakeholders – including external and internal campaign updates, recaps & useful insights, screen grabs, and video captures
  • Ensure on time & ease of launch for clients for all product offerings
  • Serve as the liaison between the client, Roku creative services and ad operation teams – support Roku Best Practices & Ad Guidelines on design and approach for assets
  • Provide regularly scheduled communications and campaign updates with clients and internal stakeholders – you are responsible for keeping all parties informed and on schedule
  • Be comfortable presenting insights, data & campaign metrics during client meetings and/or QBRs
  • Develop a keen understanding of how the Roku platform and unique ad products will deliver brand value in support of the clients advertising goals
  • Support Roku billing efforts for our clients from invoice to payout

We’re excited if you have

  • 3+ years of experience in account management/client services at an ad tech company or media planning at an agency
  • Experience working with performance advertisers who prioritize lower-funnel outcomes
  • Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency
  • Experience in Programmatic video executions and workflows
  • Reporting intelligence with Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint & Tableau
  • Strong desire for collaboration, creative brainstorms, and proactive client engagement
  • Familiar with commercial digital ad serving tools for video and display
  • Analytical, project management, deadline-drive, and process-oriented personality
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environment
