Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with and processing accounting activities related to AP payments, prepaids and expenses, inventory, state tax processing and filing activities, month-end closing and reconciliations and assistance with audits as necessary. This position will work with accounting, senior management and project management teams.

The ideal candidate will have an intermediate understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures within Viewpoint Vista or similar ERP accounting system.

Qualifications:


  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar business degree
  • Minimum 4 years of Construction Accounting or similar related expereince
  • Strong attention to detail and mathematical skills
  • Key competencies are communication, teamwork, initiative and dependability


Environment/Physical Requirements:


  • This position requires work indoors 100% of the workday
  • Periodic travel
  • The person in this position may be required to lift office supplies and materials up to 30 pounds
