Key Responsibilities:

• Perform basic and intermediate accounting tasks, including managing inventory and fixed assets.
• Compile and post accruals and other journal entries with accuracy.
• Conduct cash reconciliations and other recurring reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
• Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and sub-ledgers by maintaining proper documentation.
• Assist in the monthly close process, including generating affiliate and departmental financial statements, and reviewing for accuracy and completeness.
• Produce detailed financial and management reports for decision-making.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Maintain and update procedure documentation for accounting processes.
• Support payroll management, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring proper processing and reconciliation.
• Reconcile credit card accounts and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the Controller on special projects as needed.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring the protection of company and customer financial information.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of related accounting experience preferred, ideally in the automotive or retail industry.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and independently draw logical conclusions.
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for continuous improvement.
