What We Need
We are looking for an Accountant to join our HNI team in Muscatine, Iowa!
What You Will Do
Record general ledger entries to accurately reflect the current position of the organization in compliance with GAAP.
Reconcile, research variances, and analyze accounts in conjunction with month-end close process.
Drive accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in the month-end close process.
Ensure compliance to contractual agreements.
Ensure compliance to established controls.
Support internal and external audit requests.
What You Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2 years of related professional experience
Able to prioritize day-to-day responsibilities, while ensuring timeliness to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
What You’re Good At
Attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written correspondence
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure with changing priorities with quality output
Advanced technology skills (Oracle, MS Excel, BI)
