Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our clients team in Palm Beach Gardens. This is a direct hire, full-time position offering a competitive salary in the range of $60,000 to $80,000. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing routine accounting tasks, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. This role is 100% onsite and requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
