Job Location: Moorestown, NJ

Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Corporate Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The position entrails assisting with the preparation of financial statements, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations. This position provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience and develop their accounting skills in a professional environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform general accounting duties, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger.
  • Help with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, and expense tracking.
  • Support the preparation and filing of tax documents, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to audit and review financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
  • Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly archived.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.


Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop in the accounting field.
