Key Responsibilities
Prepare Financial Statements: Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in line with legal and company guidelines.
Support Tax Preparation: Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare supporting documents for tax and financial statements, with opportunities to prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns (training provided).
Client Interaction: Work with clients to manage their accounting and tax issues effectively.
Tax Planning: Engage in tax planning for both individuals and businesses to optimize financial outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Experience: At least 1 year of accounting experience is preferred.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows-based computer systems, and proficiency in Excel and MS Word.
Educational Background: A BS/BA in Accounting is required.
