Job Description
A fast-growing real estate management and investment company in downtown LA is seeking highly qualified, dedicated, term-oriented Accounting Assistant who will be responsible for supporting Accounting Department in ensuring the daily operation of the Accounting Department and a desire to assist the Company to grow.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
A fast-growing real estate management and investment company in downtown LA is seeking highly qualified, dedicated, term-oriented Accounting Assistant who will be responsible for supporting Accounting Department in ensuring the daily operation of the Accounting Department and a desire to assist the Company to grow.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily processing and scanning of bank deposits.
- Assist with the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions on a daily basis.
- Perform monthly Bank Reconciliation for all cash accounts.
- Assist in the financial recordkeeping and preparation of monthly financial reporting.
- Assist the Property Accountant with various duties as assigned.
- Assist in the research, analysis, documentation and response of tenant’s inquiries and audits.
- Assist in tracking of different schedules of accounting reporting.
- Assist with Administrative and general office duties in Accounting Department.
- Handle administrative needs of Executive
- Receive visitors
- Maintain and order supplies
- Stock and maintain kitchen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize projects as needed.
- Must possess strong organizations skills.
- Must follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Must be detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage one’s own time and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Yardi software
- Experience in Real Estate preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience as an executive secretary, administrative assistant, or in other related fields
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong attention to detail
