Opportunity

The Accounting and Finance Intern position will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the company. Working with the Finance and Accounting team, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the monthly close, financial reporting and day-to-day accounting tasks. This is a paid opportunity.

Specific Responsibilities Include

• Assist with month end processes including booking journal entries and reconciling key balance sheet accounts
• Shadow various finance departments and assist with testing and implementing strong internal controls
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis on a month-to-month basis
• Support the Finance and Accounting team on day-to-day tasks
  
  

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be in a bachelor or master’s degree program in Accounting or Finance with a 3.0+ grade point average
• Independent Worker – drives for individual and team results while maintaining high personal standards
• Communication – listens well and demonstrates concise and effective written and verbal skills
• Organization and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills and some experience using Microsoft Excel
