Overview

DTEN is growing and looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. You will report directly to our Corporate Controller and partner closely with our CFO and others to support accurate and timely financial reporting, reconciliation of accounts, and development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

The ideal candidate possesses leadership capabilities, and a solid operational and technical accounting background, and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity, and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

●     Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, and supervise two direct reports.

●     Interact with sales, supply chain, production, R&D, and other internal teams.

●     Manage the monthly financial close process, including updating month end close checklist, reviewing journal entries, global consolidations, balance sheet reconciliations.

●     Provide monthly financial and accounting reporting and analysis.

●     Manage payroll, prepare and process US payroll and related reporting.

●     Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses/account reconciliations.

●     Lead sales tax filing in the US and support other tax filing and reporting.

●     Support global cost accounting and inventory management.

●     Support ERP optimization and process improvement.

●     Support budget and forecasting activities.

●     Provide support for departmental inquiries and ad-hoc analysis.

Qualifications:

●     Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

●     10+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.

●     Experience with ERP systems and accounting software, preferably NetSuite.

●     Significant manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting experience.

●     Experience in working with international teams

●     Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

●     Thorough understanding of accounting principles and standards (GAAP), and internal controls.

●     Chinese (Mandarin) reading and speaking preferred; San Francisco Bay area local candidates required.
