Accounting Manager

This is a remote position.

This company is seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager to lead and oversee a team of accounting professionals. The Accounting Manager will ensure accurate financial reporting, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and support the business in maintaining the highest level of financial integrity. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, be detail-oriented, and have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily accounting operations of the team.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of financial statements.
• Prepare and analyze financial projections and market trends.
• Provide financial advice and consulting to clients on strategies and trends for strategic growth
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.
• Represent the company in client interactions, maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.
• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven 4-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a US accounting environment.
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Ideally, you have good knowledge of US accounting, including GAAP standards.
• Ability to perform financial analysis and projections accurately.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1/C2).
• Strategic orientation and meticulousness in work, with attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively interact with clients, including participation in meetings and presentations.
• Desirable experience in mentoring and staff development.
• Bonus if you have some US tax experience with S-Corps, Schedule Cs, Partnerships, & C-Corps
