Position Overview:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of financial transactions. This role involves supervising a team of accountants, coordinating with other departments, and providing strategic financial insights to support business objectives.

The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of financial transactions. This role involves supervising a team of accountants, coordinating with other departments, and providing strategic financial insights to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations
- Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Assign and review tasks, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely completion
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify opportunities for professional development
- Internal Controls and Audits:
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any findings or recommendations
- Financial Transactions and Reconciliation:
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Perform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and financial trends
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and insights
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices
- Proficiency in Netsuite
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity
