Accounting Manager

DAY IN THE LIFE

Does the“Pledge to Partnership and Joining a National Movement excite you?We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department's daily operations. As a key member of our team, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting tasks and preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including but not limited to:
• Months-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations
• Accounts payable/receivable
• General ledger/Tax filings
• Prepared and analyzed financial reports for management review
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  
  

with GAAP.

• Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends
• Coordinate and liaise with external tax advisors
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Stay current on industry trends and changes in regulations
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  
  

MUST HAVE

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role, preference for small manufacturing and/or inventory experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with financial reporting and creating financial statements
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Benefits

• Salary Range: $90k - $120k Medical/Health/Dental coverage available 401(k) – 3% company contribution In office 3-5 days/week
