We have an opening for a:

Accounting Manager (Remote)

The Accounting Manager is responsible for a variety of accounting duties including:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Work with Controller to implement and maintain internal controls and procedures
  • Work with Controller to coordinate audits and ensure audit readiness
  • Analyze financial data and prepare financial statements and reports
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to accounting staff
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards
  • Other duties as assigned

This position is a full-time remote position that will require the candidate to occasionally be onsite at our corporate office in Helena, MT. The successful candidate would live in one of the preferred states identified on the map below and have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. A bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and at least 3 years of experience, knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and the ability to apply them to varied accounting transactions, Costpoint and non-profit experience preferred. Targeted compensation for this position is $86,000 - $95,000 a year. First review of candidates will be on July 29th, and continually reviewed every 5 days after.
