Accounting Manager

National company headquartered in Orlando is seeking a top-in-field an Accounting Manager to join their team.

The role 100% remote with limited visits to the corporate office.

The position is highly visible and will report into the Director of Accounting. You will perform month-end close activities and consolidations, monthly reporting, work with external auditors, serve as a regional resource for technical GAAP accounting / FASB codification guidance.

THE IDEAL Accounting Manager has:

• 5+ years experience working in either public accounting and / or private accounting mix
• Strong GAAP Accounting / FASB Codification knowledge including ASC 606 and ASC 842
• Financial Statement and footnote disclosure preparation
• Experience in leading a team and supervision of work including but not limited to account reconciliations and journal entries; month-end close
• SOX controls, policies & procedures, and guidance on internal accounting policy
• Advanced Excel required including experience with V-Lookup and other advanced formulas
• Ability to take on special projects such as process improvement as needed.
• CPA preferred
