Accounting Manager

As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the accounting operations for Renew Biotechnologies and its seven subsidiaries

Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of Renew Biotechnologies and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, profit planning, compliance, and audit preparation. This role requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting operations for Renew Biotechnologies and its seven subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliation of accounts, journal entries, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate and lead the annual financial statement review process, coordinating with external auditors to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Collaborate with the CFO to develop and monitor profit plans, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filings at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Utilize NetSuite for financial reporting, general ledger management, and other accounting functions. Previous experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Assist the CFO in strategic financial planning, including cash flow management, capital allocation, and financial modeling.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Familiarity with the intricacies of inventory management and accounting.
• Experience managing accounting for multiple entities or subsidiaries is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
