Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines is seeking a motivated individual to play a critical role as an Accounting Manager within the finance department. This position will be integral to accounting operations and will support the monthly and quarterly accounting close. This role is an individual contributor reporting to the Director, Accounting.

The Opportunity:
Revolution Medicines is seeking a motivated individual to play a critical role as an Accounting Manager within the finance department. This position will be integral to accounting operations and will support the monthly and quarterly accounting close. This role is an individual contributor reporting to the Director, Accounting.
- Preparation of timely and accurate journal entries (with appropriate supporting documentation) for the month-end close, quarter-end close and accounting transactions which includes but is not limited to prepaid expenses, accrual entries such as regular G&A entries and all consultants.
- Responsibility for cash management transactions including but not limited to preparing payments, entering deposits, managing Positive Pay, and preparing bank account reconciliations.
- Primary contact for all employee stock administration inquiries and tasks, including actively interacting with employees and collaborating closely with our external stock administration partner to manage E*Trade.
- Coordination and assistance with external audit.
- Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Participation in process improvements, financial system enhancements and special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with two-three years of relevant experience in an accounting operations role.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring high levels of accuracy and precision in task completion.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to anticipate events, prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with interdepartmental teams.
- Innovative, team-player with high energy for our small company environment.
- Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.
- Public company experience is.
- Experience with Sage Intacct and Coupa.
