Description
We are in search of a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. The role is based in remote and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including payroll, expense management, and account reconciliation, in the biopharmaceuticals industry.
Responsibilities
Managing payroll accounting for multiple employees across various states
Overseeing the amortization of prepaid expenses and accrual of expenses
Conducting account reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger in SAP
Supporting in the preparation of the annual budget and cash forecast
Providing support on annual tax return preparations, including income tax and property tax
Managing finance files such as vouchers, invoices, client/vendor contracts, and other relevant documentation
Implementing and overseeing other monthly and quarterly closing activities
Preparing monthly financial analysis
Requirements
Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role.
Proficiency in using SAP Business One is essential.
Familiarity with ADP - Payroll is needed.
Proficiency in Month End Close processes is necessary.
Demonstrated knowledge in managing accruals is required.
Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Must have excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred.
