Accounting Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain policies and processes to ensure accurate financial statements and proper record-keeping
• Consolidate and report financial statements
• in compliance with US GAAP
• Manage the general ledger, monthly closing process and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with required deadlines
• Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of all financial reports, both internally and externally
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers and manage collections effectively
• Manage accounts receivable collections and distribute aging and other reports to ensure visibility for management and mitigate potential issues
• Analyze regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company's financial operations
• Administer cash flow management, treasury activities, and payment commitments.
• Evaluate and further develop the accounting infrastructure to enhance operational efficiencies
• Oversee the coordination and preparation of all federal, state, local and international tax and statutory filing requirements
• Analyze and report financial performance against budget and other metrics for monthly reports, forecasts, and strategic planning
• Support CFO in developing long-term financial models, budgets, forecasts, analytical projects and metrics
• Manage and train the accounting team to maintain high performance standards
• Provide advice on cost control measures and support due diligence for investment/acquisition transaction
• Provide due diligence support on potential investment/acquisition transactions and serve as a key participant of deal management teams in evaluating, structuring
• and negotiating investments and business transactions
• Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with external financial regulations.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business and CPA required
• Minimum 8+ years of professional level accounting and finance experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of current US GAAP, especially revenue recognition standards under ASC 606a
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of and experience with NetSuite
• Intermediate to advanced mastery of Excel and Excel modeling
• Highly motivated and well-organized individual
• Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead others and achieve results through others, assemble and lead high performance teams
• Must be able to work within all levels of the organization and successfully deliver information and recommendations to executives
• Ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple projects to achieve required deadlines; ability to prioritize
• Strong technology, software licensing accounting and revenue recognition experience strongly preferred
