Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist for a fully remote position within the US timezones. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in the arts, culture, non-profit sectors, or other unique fields. The successful candidate will join one of our US-based partner companies and help manage the financial operations of our growing team.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounts and incoming/outgoing payments.

Create and manage bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

Organize financial transactions, classify, compute, post, record, and verify accounts receivable data daily.

Review the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

Send bill reminders and contact customers to ensure payment of invoices.

Detect and resolve venue payment issues.

Prepare detailed financial statements and reports on accounts receivable status for company executives and senior managers.

Implement and maintain automation to streamline workflow.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist.

Proficiency in calculating, posting, and managing accounting figures and financial records.

Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.

Practical experience with spreadsheets and bookkeeping software.

Strong mathematical and data entry skills.

Familiarity with MS Office, Google Cloud, QuickBooks, Xero, or other cloud accounting software.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

High accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.

(Preferred) Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Business Administration.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role involves regular communication, use of hands and fingers, occasional standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment typically has a low to moderate noise level.
