Adjunct Lecturer, Management & Organizations (Part Time)

Position Highlights

The Department of Management and Organizations is seeking an adjunct lecturer to teach an online, undergraduate class titled “Sports Analytics” in the upcoming fall 2024 semester. This is a 7-week long course, which begins on August 26 and ends on October 16, 2024. Successful candidates may be eligible to teach in future terms depending on the needs of the Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teach one section of an online sports management course ("Sports Analytics")
  • Preparation of course instruction and materials.
  • Grade assignments, presentations and exams.
  • Hold virtual office hours for enrolled students.
  • Submit final grades at end of session.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Management or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD or other terminal degree in Management or related field.
  • Professional experience or active research portfolio related to courses to be taught.
