This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a motivated and skilled Administrative Assistant to support our Power & Energy Team in a hybrid role supporting our OE role for a client in their Rochester, NY office. The following location will also be considered: Buffalo, NY. The position will include working with Business Executives, Directors, Managers, engineers, project managers, and other multi-discipline team members on a daily basis to facilitate project and business operations support.

Your Impact

  • Organize and schedule meetings, events, trainings and appointments
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Prepare presentations
  • Assist in preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies
  • Prepare and mail all US/UPS/Fed Ex packages
  • Filing of materials in general
  • Data organization
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs


Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing
  • Must have pleasant telephone manner; able to think on feet when dealing with callers
  • Must have customer service oriented “can do” approach to work.
  • Must have superior organizational skills and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem solving and people skills also required.
  • Microsoft and PowerPoint Expertise.
  • Technically oriented, including the use of AV & Computer Equipment for Presentations
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
  • This position is subject to and contingent upon client approval of candidates put forth for consideration by WSP.

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $37,600 - $56,400

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
