BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Manage the administrative activities of assigned division including overseeing the Administrative Assistants (who assist Sales, Parts, Distribution and Service), budgeting, supporting dealers and sales team with promotions and programs; Lead division event planning functions.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Manage the administrative staff, who support sales, service, parts, training, and distribution, to include: hiring, managing performance, training, and distributing and reviewing work.
  • Manage several company programs at the Division level such as the Employee Product Purchase Program, Safety Shoe Program, and Uniform Program and serve as the liaison to the employees utilizing these programs.
  • Create forecast and month-end reports to supply Home Office with required information on division activities.
  • Order supplies and equipment to provide division employees with the necessary items to accomplish job responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and plan Division dealer activities to include annual Dealer Advisory Board meetings and Division Meeting.
  • Assist with dealer organization to include communications of programs and information concerning the division, such as office closures due to holidays, incentive processing, package meetings and authorizations.
  • Maintain the Divisions automated phone system.
  • Complete and manage the Division budget.
  • Other tasks as needed and assigned.
  • Conducting Division Asset Inventory and KBT reporting to Japan.
  • Assist Corporate Events Planning Team with Corporate event planning and onsite help during event, as needed.
  • Training and development of Administration Supervisors at other locations, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in related field and/or 5-7 years related experience.
  • 3-5 years’ previous management experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Access.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills

Physical Requirements

  • Typical office environment. The position will require walking, standing and sitting at a computer.
  • Occasional need to go out into warehouse where temperatures could be cooler or warmer; could be dusty.
