Position: Program Admissions Consultant

Duration: Full time


Summary: As a Program Admissions Consultant, you’ll have the choice to work in a virtual or office environment to recruit prospective students, assess their educational needs, and explain the benefits and objectives of the programs offered by our university partners. Recruiting prospective students for our university partners requires a customer-focused attitude, self-discipline, and a high degree of accountability. Program Admissions Consultants will ensure that students always receive an ethical, professional, and consistently high-quality experience throughout the enrollment process.


Duties and Responsibilities Include:


  • Conduct virtual interviews, corresponding via email, phone, and other methods to reach out to prospective students and determine their educational needs, concerns, and interests.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on continuous process and product knowledge improvement while representing university partners and supporting prospective students.
  • Proactively engage prospective students within a goal-oriented, metrics-driven environment as well as generate personally developed leads (PDLs).
  • Support and mentor students throughout the enrollment process and aid in effectively enrolling students into their desired program of study.
  • Fulfill recruitment measures via the use of CRM, telephony, and predictive dialer technologies to ensure that targeted recruitment goals are consistently met.
  • Employ a collaborative approach to connect students with other contact center operations employees to efficiently and effectively resolve student questions and concerns.
  • Participate in special recruiting promotional activities during each recruiting cycle.


Qualifications:

Education:

Associate degree or higher, and/or commensurate work experience.


Experience:

Minimum of 2+ years of enrollment management services or direct sales experience within a contact center environment (ex: insurance, etc.)


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Excellent client relationship management skills in a personable and engaging manner.
  • Goal-oriented with a results-driven desire for success.
  • Passion and initiative to continuously meet and exceed expectations.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Required to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Strong expertise with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, and efficient in learning new software.
  • Willing and able to work flexibly as needed, which may include different shifts and/or overtime contingent upon business demand.
  • Able to engage effectively across levels inside and outside the organization to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Able to work effectively with remote work tools, platforms, and teams as needed.
