The Northwest Tri-County IU5 Adult Education Program is seeking a part-time Adult Education English as a second language instructor at The Quality of Life Learning Center in Erie, PA. This is a contracted position working approximately 18 hours per week at a rate of $23/hour. The schedule for this position would be Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 am - 3:30 PM to include instructional time of 9:00-11:30 and 12:00-2:30. Additionally, there would be 3 hours of prep time that can be done remotely on either Tuesday or Thursday.
Required Qualification
Valid PA Teaching Certification
Desired Qualifications
Teaching experience preferred
Knowledge of Adult Education and College and Career Readiness Standards
Experience working with ESL (English as a Second Language) students
