Essential Job Functions
The Adult HSE teacher provides instruction to Adult Basic Education students. Instruction includes preparing students for the HiSET exam, along with providing basic instruction in math, reading, and language. Teachers are responsible for creating lesson plans that align to the results of student testing. Position requires teacher to be able to teacher both in-person and virtually online. In-person classes will be located in Clayton. Hours can be morning, afternoon, and/or evening.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
AEL Certification
Highly self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple priorities
Proficient with Microsoft software products and Google applications
Highly detail oriented and organized
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Knowledge of video conferencing software
