About The Opportunity
One of the best healthcare organizations in Massachusetts located in Medford, MA is currently in need of a lot of Adult Mental Health Counselors to join their growing team
They provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism
You will be responsible for supporting the clients who are unable to perform routine daily activities without assistance
Adult Mental Health Counselor Responsibilities
Monitoring the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients
Performing personal hygiene care and housekeeping duties
Administering medicine and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Assisting clients from their beds into chairs or wheelchairs, and back
Accompanying clients on trips, such as medical appointments
Adult Mental Health Counselor Qualifications
CPR and First Aid certification
Caregiving experience with adults is highly preferred
Applicants must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification
