Job Description
As an Advisor - Organizational Development at ALSAC, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping individual performance and fostering high-functioning teams. Reporting to the Director of Performance and Team Effectiveness, you’ll collaborate on strategic initiatives aligned with ALSAC’s business objectives. Your expertise will drive programs, interventions, and activations that create a psychologically safe culture rooted in ALSAC Core Competencies.

Job Description
As an Advisor - Organizational Development at ALSAC, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping individual performance and fostering high-functioning teams. Reporting to the Director of Performance and Team Effectiveness, you’ll collaborate on strategic initiatives aligned with ALSAC’s business objectives. Your expertise will drive programs, interventions, and activations that create a psychologically safe culture rooted in ALSAC Core Competencies.
Essential Job Functions
Design and Implement Frameworks:
- Develop and implement organizational development frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance individual and team performance.
- Deliver instructor-led training across all organizational levels.
- Partner with the Director of Performance and Team Effectiveness to improve team effectiveness strategies, training, and development.
- Ensure an employee-centric mindset throughout the organization.
- Provide training on the performance management process, including philosophy and strategy.
- Deeply understand the business to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and offer proactive solutions through a people-centric lens.
- Analyze performance data to uncover trends and improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with the Employee Experience team to align performance processes with other talent management initiatives.
- Collaborate with Instructional Designers to create and enhance training materials.
- Leverage technology for ongoing enhancements, and staying informed about industry changes.
- Use metrics to track program completion, ensure compliance, and measure effectiveness.
- Assess and diagnose team initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Implement team interventions in collaboration with the Director of Performance and Team Effectiveness.
- Facilitate team-building activities, and manage communication, scheduling, and vendor relationships.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Master’s or advanced degrees preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of six years in leadership development and/or organizational effectiveness.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint).
- Experience with Workday Performance and Learning Management System is a plus.
