Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Concorde Inc. is seeking an Agile Project Manager responsible for leading Agile projects by collaborating with stakeholders to define goals, managing product backlogs, and facilitating Scrum activities. They empower self-organizing teams, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and proactively address risks.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Agile Project Planning

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project vision, goals, and user stories.
  • Develop and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value and stakeholder feedback.

Scrum Facilitation

  • Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Team Management

  • Empower self-organizing teams by promoting collaboration and innovation.
  • Support team members in their roles and provide coaching on Agile practices.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency regarding project progress and challenges.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders throughout the development process.

Risk Management

  • Identify and address risks proactively, adjusting the product backlog as necessary to mitigate potential issues.
  • Foster an environment where team members feel safe to raise concerns and suggest improvements.

Quality Assurance

  • Work with the team to establish quality metrics and ensure that deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
  • Encourage test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration practices.

Documentation

  • Maintain Agile documentation, such as user stories, sprint goals, and release plans, ensuring it is accessible and up-to-date.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices from each sprint for future reference.


Skills and Expertise:


Agile Methodologies

  • In-depth understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Experience with Agile estimation techniques (e.g., story points, planning poker).

Facilitation Skills

  • Strong ability to facilitate team meetings and workshops effectively.
  • Skills in guiding teams through conflict resolution and decision-making processes.

Technical Proficiency

  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Trello).
  • Understanding of software development processes and technologies.

Adaptability

  • Ability to adapt project plans based on iterative feedback and changing stakeholder needs.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid changes in project scope.


Preferred Qualifications:


Education
