Position: Aircraft Integration Technician
Location: Irvine, CA - Onsite Required
Position Description
The Aircraft Integration Technician will be responsible for the creation, modification, routing and installation of aircraft system wire harnesses and electrical and avionics systems on manned and unmanned aircraft in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives. The Integration Technician reports to the Lead Integration Technician and Director of Manufacturing.

Physical Demands
Hourly rate depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the hourly rate, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.

Position Description
The Aircraft Integration Technician will be responsible for the creation, modification, routing and installation of aircraft system wire harnesses and electrical and avionics systems on manned and unmanned aircraft in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives. The Integration Technician reports to the Lead Integration Technician and Director of Manufacturing.
Required Skills And Responsibilities
- Installs, modifies and tests aircraft structural, composite, avionics, and/or electrical systems to ensure they are operational and meet required quality standards
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems
- Completes all required documentation in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements
- In the absence of established procedures, confers with Lead Integration Technician and / or Manufacturing Engineer
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
- Typically requires an associate degree in a related field or military/trade school equivalence and five or more years of progressive experience in aircraft assembly, integration and/or maintenance. Additional related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of the formal education.
- Applicant must have considerable knowledge of:
- Structural, composite, mechanical and electrical aircraft processes, systems and associated regulations
- Aircraft related assembly/repair/installation processes, tools, composites, templates, fixtures, testing and measuring devices as well as judgment to determine correct process, tools, and/or material
- Reading, interpreting, and explaining blueprints, drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Installing, modifying, and adjusting various complex aircraft assemblies and structures
- Experience in the use of various hand tools and aircraft electrical crimping tools
- Experienced in routing electrical harnesses and cables
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Able to lift 50lbs. and work in tight spaces
- High School Diploma or GED. 5-7 Years relative work experience.
- A&P license a plus.

- Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 50
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work
- May be performing physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors
