Job Summary

Alcohol Compliance Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Alcohol Compliance Team Leader is responsible for overseeing all aspects of responsible alcohol service. This role ensures compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to the sale, service, and consumption of alcoholic beverages. The team leader will help train team members, monitor service areas, and take initiative to ensure a safe and responsible environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Oversee and ensure that all signage related to the responsible sale of alcoholic beverages is consistently displayed in bar and applicable concession areas, in compliance with legal and company standards.
• Enforce policies regarding portioning and limits on drink purchases, ensuring staff adherence and resolving any issues related to non-compliance.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of alcohol service operations, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all service areas.
• Ensure compliance with responsible beverage service policies by monitoring that visibly intoxicated individuals are not served alcoholic beverages, taking immediate actions as needed.
• Enforce monitoring processes to prevent "pass-offs" (i.e. unauthorized transfer of alcoholic beverages) and ensure staff are properly educated on identifying such behavior.
• Ensure strict adherence to established hours of service and cut-off times, adjusting staff actions as necessary to comply with local laws and company regulations.
• Lead and oversee the consistent application of company policies related to identification checks, ensuring proper training and implementation among staff.
• Manage the enforcement of alcohol service termination policies and provide guidance to staff in making decisions on when to cease service.
• Perform additional alcohol safety and compliance duties as assigned
