The role of the Analyst of Consumer Insights is to help drive consumer centricity throughout the organization. The Analyst role will work closely with the Manager on the development and delivery of consumer-led research, evangelize market trends, assist in data analyses, and work towards instilling strategic consumer-led thought leadership across functions. Reporting directly to the Manager of Insights, this individual will be responsible for working with their leader to deliver against a research budget and robust learn plan, rooted in important company and brand initiatives. The role will continue to advance our functional agenda around leveraging new and different vendors and methodologies to ensure an innovative and authentic read on the consumer and consumer behavior.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Supporting the development of learn plans for foundational and ad hoc consumer insights research across the portfolio (examples include: mega trends, demand spaces, consumption occasions understanding, upstream innovation opportunities)
  • Partnering with the Manager on defining major research objectives, developing project plans and approaches, and delivering on timelines to meet objectives
  • Executing research to support innovation development, product renovation, and strengthen brand strategy
  • Activating consumer learnings across the Marketing, R&D, and Sales teams, while using strong storytelling skills and other compelling methods
  • Ensuring the continuous evolution of the Insights function within Ferrara and shaping the future of how we effectively learn about and deliver compelling consumer insights
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted partner to the Marketing, R&D, Category Leadership, Sales, and other cross-functional teams by being the ultimate subject matter expert on the consumer
  • Uncovering strategic insights utilizing consumer research, trends, data, and business performance helping shape strategy alongside the Growth and Marketing teams to accelerate the business
  • Maintaining a mindset of continuous improvement in techniques and cost, and identifying tools / vendors / technology to increase effectiveness of consumer understanding

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of CPG relevant experience/area of Consumer Insights / Market Research
  • Experience and / or passion for quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Experience in managing multiple vendors and experimenting with new vendors
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Circana (POS data and Consumer Panel data)
  • Knowledge of NPD Circana in-home consumption data
