Analytical Chemist Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely analysis of production samples following analytical procedures.
Develop, establish, and validate analytical testing methodologies for raw materials, production intermediates, and final products.
Document analytical methods in technical reports and transfer to Quality Control Department.
Implement new or existing analytical methods for identification of compounds.
Maintain all laboratory instruments.
Coordinate off-site testing when necessary.
Follows laboratory guidelines and safety requirements.
Analytical Chemist Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Required
Minimum 2-4 years of professional industry experience.
Experience in analytical methods and lab instrumentation (e.g. GC, GC/MS, titrators, Analyzers)
Chemical or Oil and Gas Refinery Experience Preferred.
