Apparel Designer

The Designer will support the Design team and Product Development in all aspects of design from concept through sampling. 

Requirements

• Forward Designer with experience in graphic tees
• Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator with the ability to cad graphics/mock-ups in PS for new development
• Conduct trend research for own brand as well as major accounts
• Develop brand appropriate designs and work with pattern maker to approve fits
• Work closely with Design Director to prepare each seasonal collection
• Strong eye for color as it applies to color palettes, garment dyeing/lab dips and strike-offs
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing, admin, pre production & production
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
• 3-5 years experience with knowledge of domestic cut and sew knits graphic experience is a plus
• Team player, no job too big or too small
