Who Are We Looking For

The Application Administrator reports to the Director of Infrastructure and is responsible for administering application software, processes and underlying infrastructure to support key Business Applications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Administers, supports, and maintains systems and applications; plans, schedules and implements systems and application upgrades and patches; and monitors performance.
  • Provides technical support to application users; responds to user requests; analyzes user requirements; resolves system and application issues.
  • Documents and reviews business processes, system dependencies, electronic content, and automated workflows within the organization.
  • Defines and builds electronic workflows to support business processes, creating templates and documents for standardized, secure, and consistent processing.
  • Provides training, mentoring, and documentation supporting applications including electronic content, finance, HR, workflow, and records management.
  • Oversees the methods used to ingest, index, and verify electronic content and coordinates integrated and scheduled content imports within applications.
  • Researches and identifies process and improvement opportunities; reviews and resolves issues with business rules.
  • Leads the effort to plan, test, and implement new solutions and oversees software upgrades and system migrations.
  • Coordinates activity with external vendors to resolve issues, implement functionality changes, and coordinate upgrades of components of cloud-based and on-premises applications and systems.
  • Administers and builds application reporting and enables customer self-service.
  • Creates and maintains system documentation.
  • Works primarily self-directed based on the needs of the supported business units and priorities set by management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

  • Proficiency in electronic content management systems, design, support, and administration (Hyland Perceptive, Kofax, DocuSign preferred).
  • Expertise administering and supporting general ledgers (Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite preferred).
  • Experience administering and supporting HRIS platforms (Paycom, ADP Workforce Now preferred).
  • Knowledge of application performance management and supporting Business KPIs.
  • Adept with traditional, cloud, and hybrid architectures and infrastructures; including Microsoft Server, Azure, and AWS platforms.
  • Secure by design mindset.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, CI/CD and other development methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aptitude translating the needs of the business into technical solutions.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills.

Compensation range starting at $110,000 but will reflect the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
