Description

This position participates in our PDI Enterprise and other back-office system's daily technology and process support and development. Provides technical ownership & leadership of the PDI ERP system, UKG and other back-office systems. Successful candidates are hands-on technologists with excellent technical and customer service skills and a clear desire to respond to customer needs, support, and develop technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall change management, effectiveness, and performance of the PDI environment. This includes monitoring system performance and suitability to business needs and working with system providers for ongoing support, upgrades, and functionality enhancements.
  • Create, support, and manage scheduled tasks and ongoing and focal point reporting systems.
  • Support and ongoing improvement of assigned application systems, working closely with business owners and managers to prioritize IT efforts and leverage technology to support business and financial objectives.
  • Ensure communication with business users is effective via regular meetings to review outstanding problems and initiatives to improve system performance.
  • For significant system enhancements and upgrades, be a key member of the testing team and guide the required infrastructure changes. Coordinate the deployment of patches, enhancements, and major rollouts with the business and technical teams.
  • Develops, publishes, and maintains system road maps to include a version upgrade policy that is both business-sensitive and technically robust.
  • Identifies and acts necessary to resolve by performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and reporting results to the appropriate IT and business teams.
  • Schedules and performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures!
  • Provide performance-level optimization recommendations.
  • Collaborate in designing, developing, and deploying applications and enhancements.
  • Configure software scripts, programs, and interfaces to create new or enhanced functionality.
  • Work closely with PDI support and consultants to build and implement solutions.

Qualifications

  • Support all audit requirements. Bi-annual user re-certifications, escalated support ticket management, non-store PDI user management
  • 4-5 years of experience administering PDI Enterprise and included modules
  • Ensure that agreed audit recommendations are implemented at agreed times, and that recommended procedures are consistently followed.
  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all system control processes are followed and compliant with corporate policies.
  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Development, support, and documentation of scheduled tasks
  • Confirms that unit and system testing for all system changes and upgrades are correctly completed and approved before moving anything to production.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
