Salary Range: $142,470-$174,130
Job Summary
The Manager of Manufacturing software will manage a team of technical and functional Business Analysts supporting and developing software solutions for Manufacturing plants of Colas North America. The Manager’s focus will be leadership of the team toward quality and on time implementation of solutions, continued development of team, and compliance with the organization’s processes. The Manufacturing Manager will drive the team in understanding the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, articulates what success looks like for a product, and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality.

Job Summary

Main Responsibilities
- Actively leads and manages a team of approximately 11 technical and functional Business Analysts
- Mentors and motivates team members
- Oversees solutions using various software including Command Alkon JWS Apex, Command Series and MobileSales, other Construction Materials Plants software and Safety application .
- Establish and advance Product roadmap in collaboration with domain champion/product owner.
- Mentors team in functional, technical design, implementation and support of the applications mentioned above
- Oversees data gathering, design, development, validation, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring continuity, quality and on-time delivery
- Monitors team’s project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, recommending actions
- Facilitates compliance with internal processes including systems development methodology, time collection, reporting
- Performs administrative management and leadership duties along with hands-on analysis and technical work
- Participates with Management Team in setting organization objectives, plans
- Creatively supports manufacturing objectives by gathering information, reviewing vendor software in the market and recommending business software solutions
- Review and approve specifications and design
- Review and approve test coverage on projects and change requests
- Ensure the transition to support phase is completed appropriately with proper documentation
- Improves systems by studying current practices, designing improvements
- Reports to the Director of Applications
- Available for Travel up to 25% in US and Canada
- Bachelor Degree in Computer science or similar
- 4 plus years of direct report management of 5 or more direct reports.
- Ability to mentor, coach and develop support and business analysts.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Exceptional written, verbal & listening communication skills
- Strong work and personal ethics
- Experience with any of the following or similar applications:
- Command Alkon: Apex/JWS, Command Series, MobileSales
- Experience in construction materials industry
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and JIRA software.
- Experience in the road construction industry
- French speaking
