Your Role + The Opportunity

As the Architect, you will join the firm at our Cincinnati, OH office and be responsible for leading projects from strategic planning and programming, design, through construction, and then to successful completion within our Integrated Industrial Design (IID) or Workplace market. Your work will require you to have highly developed expertise in project management, architectural design, and technical knowledge within the Manufacturing sector. This management-level role provides the opportunity to pursue professional growth while contributing to a firm with an extensive history and deep knowledge of the advanced manufacturing industry.

The Role Priorities

• Manage the client, consultants, and project staff through the project process on multiple medium and small projects.
• Manage project assignments and execution aligned with the work plan and with the BHDP Design Process to achieve project goals.
• Utilize operational management tools, including workload forecasting, resource planning, and project team development for assigned projects.
• Assist in the selection and management of appropriate consultants and internal resources for projects.
• Coach, mentor, and develop project staff and direct reports to support employees’ professional development.
• Create and foster relationships with key client contacts, manage client expectations, and identify opportunities for future opportunities for partnerships.
• Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve challenges, and motivate the project team.
• Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members.
  
  

Skills + Qualifications

• A professional, accredited degree in Architecture is preferred, along with a professional registration.
• 5+ years of experience in the design and architecture industry is required.
• Proficient knowledge in advanced technology (e.g., Revit and Navisworks)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of an effective team, assisting and supporting team members.
• Travel expected to be 10-15%
