Overview

THE ROLE:

The Archivist will report to the Studio Operations Sr. Manager and support the WW Creative Studio department to catalogue and archive digital and physical assets: including, but not limited to, historical and current digital assets, pins, books, product labels, etc. This position will be responsible for managing ingestion of content and assets into our Digital Asset Management system from various locations and departments and follow best practices for taxonomy and tagging. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing a system to preserve our physical assets. Must be a self-starter and must be able to operate with autonomy, while contributing to the larger team.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

  • Implement processes related to the collection, organization and cataloging for physical and digital assets.
  • Responsible for ensuring video assets and content are uploaded in the Digital Asset Management system with accurate metadata, while ensuring accurate usage rights are documented.
  • Coordinate media ingestion and metadata tagging with the Assistant Editor and Metadata Screeners
  • Receive, track and respond to inquiries and requests for assets.
  • Uphold processes to ensure all assets are tagged appropriately with content management best practices.
  • Define and maintain data structure, metadata and search terminology.
  • Serve as key subject matter expert in asset management in implementing new processes as the business develops new technology and media assets to support global sharing of content.
  • Must be able to work autonomously, while developing workflow with the department.
  • Review reporting to identify low usage assets through audits, purge data of expired assets.
  • Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security are maintained.

The Herbalife Creative Studio Team is a close-knit group of writers, designers, producers, editors, motion artists, project managers, and creative leaders collaborating to bring solutions to our internal partners, regional stakeholders, and executive leadership team.

Much like Herbalife Distributors, our Creative Studio brings a “No problem!” attitude to planning, execution, and delivery of a high volume of projects, often with fast turnarounds and modest budgets.

Our work provides creative expression to sales and marketing materials, brand identity, internal and external communications, social media, executive messaging, live events, and other Distributor experiences.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Digital Asset Management or archival experience
  • Strong time-management, planning, scheduling, and organizational skills. Resourceful and a good problem solver.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to juggle, prioritize and execute multiple projects.
  • Ability to accurately describe assets through description and keywords.


Experience

  • 3-4 years’ experience in a Coordinator or higher role in Archival or Digital Asset Management


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Library/ Information Sciences preferred, or a related field of study, or combination of education and work experience.

Hiring Range: 71,400.00 to 82,600.00 USD Annually
