Art Director, gotham
Job Description
gotham is looking for an Art Director to be responsible for the creative, conceptual thinking, development and execution of integrated campaigns. The Art Director will report to and present all work to the Group Creative Director. The Art Director will collaborate with the Account team to determine a visual expression for the advertising, and also work closely with a Copywriter to develop creative across all brand platforms. The Art Director will be responsible for multiple projects/campaigns from brief to final release, working closely with the Group Creative Director.

The starting salary range is $60,000 to $80,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

What we're looking for:
- Art Director with 3-5 years of experience, ideally in a creative agency setting
- Integrated campaign experience is a must; previous category experience in beauty, fashion, and/or non-beauty CPG/global brands is a plus
- Taste for high-level aesthetic, and passion for concepting and creating innovative work
- Knowledge around various design, film and visual arts aesthetics inclusive of social and digital culture, as well as industry trends and competitors
- Culturally astute, with an innate interest in the beauty, fashion, and luxe categories
- Ability to juggle several assignments at once and successfully work on projects with multiple contributors
- Clear, crisp and concise communicator with strong interpersonal and verbal skills
- Portfolio of conceptual design work for review, along with proven expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Google Workspace Tools
