The Mission:
As SCM's Assistant Superintendent, you will be in the field managing ground up projects as well as expansions to existing properties for SCM. The position requires field experience managing multiple construction trades including civil, structural concrete, paving, wood and metal frame construction, electrical, and interior finishes. As the Assistant Superintendent, you will be supporting the project schedule and overseeing subcontractors in each discipline for projects ranging from $1 million to $25 million in total project cost. This position is an exciting opportunity to take ownership and help support our growing SCM infrastructure. Key Results:
Contribute to the successful delivery of a minimum of 2 projects simultaneously at, or below, contracted completion budgets and schedules utilizing SCM SOPs and Project Control tool
Contribute to team's goal of 10% EBITDA
Maintain and promote SCM's Net Promoter Score of 52+ with all stakeholders
Main Objectives & Responsibilities:
Ownership of the jobsite as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders
Oversight of multiple discipline subcontractors
Schedule management including coordinating subcontractors, schedule progress updates and driving work to stay within the project timeline
Scope and subcontract Management
Construction permit management, coordinating inspections and subcontractor permit requirements
Coordination with engineering and architectural firms throughout the project lifecycle
Assist with sourcing and qualifying bids from local subcontractors
Support the subcontractor selection and qualification process
Understand and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local codes, laws and regulations
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications:
2-3+ Years of experience in General Contracting
A drive to learn and do as much as possible in an entrepreneurial setting
Ability to use one's own autonomy and creativity to be macro managed with mentorship
Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Benefits
Salaried position - $75,000 - $88,000, based on experience. Weekly per diem while managing projects, monthly vehicle allowance, project bonuses, health/dental/vision benefits, 401k, unlimited PTO, wellness & transportation reimbursement, annual event allowance, continuing education reimbursement, and other perks with an all-star team and culture.
