Orange County’s fastest growing private music school is looking for a full time Assistant General Manager.
We are seeking an experienced and professional Assistant General Manager to join the team at our busy music school. We are looking for someone who LOVES SALES and is ready to ADVANCE their career. If you have a low level energy personality this is not the right fit. This is not a laid back position. We are looking for sales killers and people that want to advance their life and career. We want the best of the best.
As a Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the school operates smoothly and efficiently. You will work the front desk in tandem with our admin staff, hire, train, and supervise staff, schedule shifts, and implement operational processes that attract and retain families. Successful Managers lead by example and uphold the highest standards in customer service. If you’re knowledgeable about operations and have a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you!
No music education or experience is required. We prefer someone with experience in restaurants, hospitality, hotels, catering, medical, fast paced, hard working customer service.
We are looking for someone that loves people, kids and is dedicated to doing their best at their job. Doesn't hurt if you love to listen to music, but you don't need to play it .
Salary And Benefits
$28-$32/hr, raises based on performance evaluations, profit share program, bonuses, 1-2 weeks of PTO annually. Health insurance included.
Hours are primarily 9-6 Tuesday through Saturday. Nights and weekends required on an as needed basis.

JOB DUTIES:
Answering phones - We're looking for the GOLDEN VOICE, that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers. If anyone has told you, that your voice should be on the radio, we're looking for you.
An ability to sell themselves as well as our services. Looking for someone with a great personality that is a people person.
If you hate sales, please do not apply. Selling our school on the phone to potential clients is one of the most important parts of this position.
Hire, train, and lead employees
Coaching employees, including tactics to attract and retain guests
Supervising admin staff and 25+ part time music teachers
Employee discipline
Create or approve schedules
Plan and execute sales, promotions, and events
Maintain information in the point of sale system
Oversee the receipt of products into inventory
Registering clients
Interacting with customers
Hiring teachers
Being trained in all aspects of running the music school
Processing paperwork
Cleaning
Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.
Ability to do basic math tasks like assisting with payment audits, assisting with QuickBooks, etc
Selling minimal retail/book supplies at the desk
Being on call in rotation with the admin under you.

Helping with marketing

Responsible for facilities management, supplies, inventory

Ideal qualifications and experience:
Three years of previous retail management (Manager or Assistant Manager) is preferred
